the fanciest of ladies

not going out tonight, but we are having friends over for pizza. i’ve been slaving over a hot stove all day to make every single thing from scratch because, as discussed, i have brain problems. here is my Company Is Coming, Please Love Me outfit, soon to be covered with a sweet freakin Halloween apron my mom made.

i finished a draft of my prospectus, so i bought a dress to celebrate! it’s BtSSB’s Rococo Cyndi JSK in black. :3 i’d been admiring it on Closet Child for a while, and told myself i could only buy it after i finished a full draft of my prospectus. and i did, and it was still available! hurray.

i’ve got my sewing stuff here in my new apartment in Oakland, but i’m missing some of my equipment and most of my fabric, and i just haven’t had the energy to sew. i am hoping that changes now that i’ve taken a massive step toward finishing my pressing grad school obligations.
